Small Slip-Ups and Big Feelings

Anonymous Velvet Fawn #642 · General Confessions

Tonight was one of those nights where the bar felt like a second home. I'm not just talking about the patrons or the regulars, but the way it feels to be in charge again after a long day outside these walls. As Daddy here, there's an unspoken code, a series of rules that aren't written down but are as real and respected as any law. And tonight, I broke one. I told her to finish up and leave before midnight for once. It was something she'd struggled with in the past, staying out too late or pushing boundaries when it came to my set hours. But there I was, doing it myself, closing down at 12:30 instead of sticking to my word. And as soon as the door locked behind the last patron and the neon sign flickered off, that guilt hit me like a ton of bricks. She'd done her part, cleaned up after everyone else's messes, tidied up our corner bar area with meticulous care, even gave herself an extra pat-down to make sure no one left something behind. And here I was, sneaking past the clock and giving myself another half-hour of freedom that wasn't hers. This isn't about sex or anything explicit, I'm not posting about a sexual scene. But in this world we've built for ourselves, even small slip-ups like these can feel like major breaches. It’s hard to be strict when I’m the one who breaks rules too.
