My Hidden Discipline with a Patient

I've been struggling with something that I never thought possible. A few weeks ago, one of my patients, let's call him Alex, he’s 18+, began to see me as more than just his nurse. He's younger and had gone through some tough stuff recently, which made him act out a bit. But in the midst of all this, we started engaging in a DDLG dynamic where I took on the role of his Mommy, offering guidance but also discipline when he needed it most. It was a strange mix of nurturing and setting boundaries that felt both right and wrong at times. I never imagined myself as someone who would dabble in something so unconventional.
