dad's gone too much

i'm a military mommy and my husband is always away for months at a time. we've started this thing where i pretend to be his little girl when he's home, just for a few days, to feel closer but it feels weird. last night he told me to go to bed early like a good girl and it made me tingle inside, i wanted more of that feeling. is this normal? am i going too far? i need some advice.
