Bound by Bedtime

I've always prided myself on my independence and the ability to make decisions on my own. But with Alex, I willingly surrendered control over even something as simple as bedtime. He set a strict rule: 10 PM lights out every night, no exceptions. At first, it felt like a ridiculous limitation, but soon enough, following his command became soothing in its predictability and routine. There was an odd comfort knowing that at the end of each day, I could surrender my tired self to Alex's care and control. Breaking this rule has never crossed my mind; adhering to it is now more than just a habit—it’s part of how I feel secure and cared for in our dynamic.
