My Secret Artistic Kink
Anonymous Fuzzy Bunny #104 · General Confessions
So you know how sometimes when you're doing something creative, like painting or sketching, and suddenly your mind takes this unexpected turn? Well, that's what happened to me today. I was working on a new piece in my studio, trying to capture the essence of freedom through colors and shapes, but then BAM! My thoughts shifted gears completely and before I knew it, I had this naughty idea swirling around in my head. I mean, not like an actual plan or anything, just these random musings. I was thinking about what if my art wasn't just confined to the canvas but could also express... well, let's just say something more personal and intimate. And then it hit me, I'd always felt a little frisson when my hands weren't painting brushes or mixing colors, but were busy with something else entirely. Now, I've never been one for labels or strict categories in anything really, artistic expression especially doesn't follow rules, but there's this side of me that gets excited about the idea of being more... assertive? Dominant? I don't know if it's just the adrenaline from creativity spilling into other realms or what, but suddenly the whole concept of 'artist and muse' had a new twist to it. It sounds silly when I type it out like this, doesn’t it? But seriously, I've always been a bit curious about exploring these dynamics in my real life too. What if my muses weren't just sources of inspiration for the canvas but also... well, you get the idea. The thought of pushing boundaries and trying something new feels exhilarating. So here's where things got a little confusing. Part of me loves this idea, there’s something thrilling about it. But another part wonders if I’m just being ridiculous. Am I overthinking everything? Is this normal for someone like me, a creative person who enjoys control, both on the canvas and off? I guess what I'm wondering is: does anyone out there relate to feeling inspired in ways that extend beyond art itself? Have you ever thought about blending creativity with these other kinds of explorations? It’s all a bit overwhelming right now, but also incredibly exciting. Would love to hear thoughts from others who might be in a similar headspace.
