After The Painting Session

So yeah, last night after a long day at work and just finishing up this giant painting of a forest scene with all these intricate details in the background, I got home and my little asked me to play. She's been wanting to do something special lately, and she knows how much I like when we get into character. So we moved from talking about art to setting up the playroom, you know, that one corner of our house where everything is set just right for these moments. Anyway, once we got there, I was in this mindset of a strict Daddy but also wanting her to feel safe and loved at the same time. She knows how much it means to me when she listens, so when I told her to strip down and get into position on that old wooden bench, she did without hesitation. The way she stood there waiting for my next move made my heart race. After a few minutes of her being patient and compliant, oh man, the things we talk about, it’s not always gentle!, I decided to step up the intensity just a bit. I wanted to remind her how serious this could be when she didn't listen or pushed back. It's all part of what she asked for and knows goes with the territory. So, after a quick warning that things were about to get tough, I started in on the real discipline. She squealed and squirmed but never broke character, she knew better. And honestly? There was something so damned hot about seeing her react like that under my hand, or when I used other methods she'd agreed to beforehand. It's not for everyone, but it turns out this dynamic really clicks with us. Afterwards, though, we ended up cuddling and talking more than usual, she told me how much the intensity had helped clear some of the clutter from her mind. But here’s where I’m stuck: Is what she craves, and what I end up enjoying, too, really normal? Like, I know it works for us, but am I missing something in terms of emotional connection or support by pushing so hard when we’re playing like this? She always reassures me that there's no damage being done and it’s just the right amount of intensity she needs. What do you all think?
