Small Mistake in Caregiver Mode
Anonymous Secret Cub #990 · General Confessions
It's been a dull week at work. I didn't feel like my usual self and found myself craving a bit of the DDLG dynamic to get me out of my rut, even if it was just in my head. Last night, while in little-space mode for a while before bed, I had this urge to do something that felt childish and fun, a small rebellion against my boring day-to-day routine. Despite feeling like an 18+ adult choosing the roleplay, there was still this nagging voice inside reminding me of rules we agreed upon weeks ago when things started. One such rule is not to stay up past ten on weeknights, bedtime comes early and it's never been negotiable. But last night, while feeling like a mischievous little girl, I deliberately set my alarm for eleven instead of ten and continued playing with some toys until then. It felt so liberating but also incredibly wrong as soon as the clock hit midnight and reality kicked in. The next day at work, I felt this heavy weight on me knowing I'd broken something sacred to our dynamic, meantime, even if it was just pretend for a moment. And there's no excuse for breaking my word, regardless of how playful the context was. I feel ashamed but can't quite shake off the rebellious thrill either.
