...I Broke My Little's Trust...

Daddy... I did something really stupid today. Something that goes against everything we’ve built together as a Daddy and little girl... You see, my Little was counting on me to finish the painting for her room by tonight, and I promised to do it after work. But... when I got home, I was so tired from all day at the office, and there were so many other things around the house that needed doing too... So instead of starting with the paint like I said, I cleaned out my old closet first, and then watched some TV... And as night fell, I just couldn't bring myself to start on it. Instead, I put her favorite picture frame from her childhood in her room before she came home, thinking maybe that would be enough for now. But she'll know something isn’t right soon... What if my Little doesn’t feel safe anymore? It hurts me so much to think about disappointing her like this...
