Small Slip-Up at Base

I'm a Daddy in the DDLG lifestyle, and I take my responsibilities seriously. But last night, I had a small slip-up that's been eating at me ever since. My Little was supposed to finish her chores before we went out for dinner, but she got distracted by some new online games she's been hooked on. I told her to put the tablet away and get back to work, but she whined about it for a bit, saying she'd do them later. Instead of staying firm, I let her off the hook because I wanted us to have more time together before we left. We had an amazing dinner out, and things were good after that. But now I feel guilty. It's not about controlling her, it’s about guiding and making sure we follow through on our promises to each other. I should’ve been stricter, but instead, I let my love for her get in the way of discipline. This small moment of weakness is eating at me because, as a Daddy, you're supposed to set that example and maintain those boundaries, no matter what.
