I'm 20 and just realized I've had a crush on dad-type figures for years. It started with my stepdad when I was younger, now it's mostly strangers who seem authoritative but kind. Recently, I confessed this to my best friend over drinks. She thinks it's weird but also kinda cool. How common is this? Do others have daddy issues or just a kink?
