A Moment That Changed Everything
Anonymous Secret Fawn #289 · General Confessions
I never thought I'd find myself in this position. It all started when one of my clients asked me to take on a project that was far beyond the usual training routine. She had an idea for us to explore, something unconventional but entirely consensual, she wanted to try being a little for our sessions together. At first, I felt uncomfortable with the concept. My background is in physical fitness and health coaching; it’s not like age-play or DDLG (Dominant/Dependent Dynamic) were part of my expertise or interest. But her determination was overwhelming. She explained how she found herself feeling lost and disconnected from a youthful sense of joy, but believed that by exploring these feelings through our dynamic, she could reconnect with them. She proposed that during sessions, I would take on the role of an older authority figure to guide and protect her in this space where she felt safe enough to be vulnerable. In exchange, she promised to push herself more than ever before, mentally and physically, embracing new challenges with renewed enthusiasm. I agreed to give it a try for three months. I didn't want to lead or discipline her beyond what we had discussed; my main goal was to support and motivate her in ways that made sense within the boundaries she set. It worked surprisingly well at first. She started making progress faster than ever, but there were moments when I felt conflicted. One day, during a particularly intense session where emotions ran high and I found myself pushing back on her hesitations with my dominant role, we reached a breaking point. We both felt raw and exposed, questioning if this was really the path she wanted to take or if it had become too much for me. That evening, we discussed everything openly. The truth is, I wasn’t sure how long I could keep up the act of being her older mentor figure when deep down, all I ever wanted was to be her trainer and friend. She admitted that while she loved exploring this dynamic, it wasn't sustainable for either of us in the long term. We agreed to phase out this aspect gradually over the next few weeks. In retrospect, stepping outside my usual comfort zone helped me understand more about myself as a coach and how I connect with clients on a deeper level than just fitness goals. It was a journey that changed both our lives for the better.
