admitting the kink

i recently realized i have a thing for ddlg stuff but its kinda confusing me. i mean im 40+ and always thought of myself as pretty traditional. but lately when im with my partner we roleplay these scenarios where hes in charge, gives me chores or tells me what to wear. feels weirdly liberating though. not sure if this is just a phase or if its something deeper. do other people experience similar feelings? am i the only one who finds it odd yet appealing at this age?
