Alone and Small Again

i just got divorced a month ago and found solace in becoming little again sometimes. i feel so small and lost but strangely safe when i slip into this headspace. it helps me deal with the sadness of my broken marriage by letting go of all responsibilities for a while. it's a weird comfort, like returning to a childhood that never truly was.
