I’m a fifty-something professor who took on an adult student in a mentorship capacity. We both agreed it was more than just mentoring, but I never called myself her caregiver or used any 'Daddy' label. One night, we had an intense session that went beyond words and into actions she led, quite explicitly so. Now, isn’t that something?
