A Secret Shame

Anonymous Bratty Cupcake #927 · General Confessions

I'm so ashamed to even admit this, but it's eating me up inside. I've always tried to be a good caregiver for those who need it, someone they can rely on and trust with their most private moments. But lately, when my girlfriend is in that space where she needs care, I find myself slipping into this...little role. It's not like I regress completely, I know who I am and always will, but there are times when her words and touch bring out parts of me that feel so vulnerable and childlike. I don't understand it all, and I'm scared to tell her how much it terrifies me as well as turns me on. It's like I want to protect her from this secret side of me because...because what if she doesn't love me anymore? What if this is the one thing that breaks us apart?
