A Small Misstep

Anonymous Blushing Bean #658 · General Confessions

As a nurse and Daddy in my 30s, I pride myself on discipline both at work and with those under me. Yet, the other day, I broke one of the rules we established, I indulged in a cookie from the hospital pantry when I wasn't supposed to. It was just one small act of defiance, but it left me feeling guilty. The idea that I could slip so easily into such behavior feels out of character for someone who sets high standards for self-control and responsibility. This little lapse made me question my resolve in maintaining our dynamic with the respect and consistency it deserves.
