Oopsie-Daisy!

I was supposed to start the laundry today but got so wrapped up in watching my favorite show that I completely forgot. And when Mommy reminded me later, instead of just owning it and getting it done right away like a good boy should, I started making excuses... saying I'd do it first thing tomorrow morning. Deep down, I know better than to lie to her like that. She knows how important chores are for growing up and taking responsibility. But she's so understanding when I screw up sometimes too... makes me feel both guilty and loved at the same time. I just need to get back on track now without any more excuses or distractions...
