When Playing Caregiver Meets a Little Space Invite
Anonymous Starry Cub #791 · General Confessions
So I’m a personal trainer, and when it comes to my private life, things get a bit...different. I identify as a switch within the DDLG community, but I’ve always kept these interests separate from my work life, thinking they’d never collide. However, that changed one day at the gym. This particular client of mine, let’s call her Emma, is also into adult age-play and DDLG dynamics. She usually comes in looking fit and healthy, always pushing herself to new limits. But on this day, something was different, she seemed a bit reserved, distant even, which isn’t like her at all. During our usual session, she opened up about feeling a bit out of sorts with her current relationship dynamic and mentioned that there might be an opportunity for me to play the role of her caregiver in a little space scenario. The idea was wild, me playing as some kind of nurturing figure while also being a fitness expert. I mean, can you imagine? We agreed it could potentially be something interesting to explore after hours, but we had to keep things professional during our scheduled sessions. As much fun and excitement as the thought brought me, I couldn’t help feeling slightly out of my element. The next day when she approached about actually moving forward with this little space idea, I felt like a kid caught between wanting to jump into an amusement park ride and being scared it might go too fast. My feelings are all over the place, part thrill-seeking adventurer, part worried caregiver not sure if he can handle the new role. So here’s my confession: I'm a little scared of messing up in this role but also super excited to see where things could lead. Is it normal for someone who usually plays both sides to be nervous about stepping into such a distinct new dynamic? Am I being unreasonable in my worries, or is this typical when venturing into the unknown with established clients and friends? What do you think, should I dive in headfirst or hold back until I’m more sure of myself?
