Drinks and Games Turned into Something More

Anonymous Shy Petal #387 · General Confessions

So you know that feeling when everything feels like a slow-motion movie but your brain is still stuck in real-time? Yeah, that happened to me last night at the bar. We were just hanging out with friends, playing pool, drinking, all those things we do on a Saturday night to try and feel alive for a bit. But then...it kind of took an unexpected turn. My friend introduced me to this new game they're into called 'Master and Servant' or something like that, it's one of those roleplay things where you take on these adult roles. At first, I was just playing along for fun, pretending to be a little kid again because it’s kind of cute when people act that way in a playful sort of way. But as the night went on and drinks poured into cups faster than they could keep up, something shifted inside me. I started remembering how my dad used to tell me bedtime stories with those big stuffed animals I had, how comforting that felt, like everything was going to be okay under his care. That's when it all sort of clicked for me; I wasn't just playing a game anymore. My friend was treating me not just as an equal but in this role where they were taking care of me. The idea of being taken care of again felt...good. Anyway, we left the bar and went somewhere quieter, more private. It's hard to explain what happened next because it felt like I wasn't entirely there, a mix of emotions swirling around inside me. But one thing is clear: that night changed something for both of us, in ways neither expected or fully understood at first. It was just weird how everything started as this fun game and turned into something more serious by the end. And now I find myself wondering if maybe there's a part of me looking for some sense of stability, comfort, something that feels safe amidst all this chaos.
