Forgot the Rules Once

I couldn't believe I let it slip this morning. After weeks of sticking to our arrangement with my partner, him being little and me in Mommy role, I forgot one simple rule. He was begging for an extra treat before breakfast, but I said no because we agreed on a strict schedule. Then he pouted so cutely, like the little guy he is in our play... I caved. Gave him some candy just to see his happy face. Now I feel guilty all over again, knowing it's my responsibility to keep us both within the boundaries we set.
