Little Moments Have Their Uses

I’m a grad student who dabbles in DDLG stuff as a switch. Sometimes I crave that little-kid feeling where everything is new and exciting, and other times I get a kick out of taking on the caregiver role. Last week, my partner decided to surprise me with some playful discipline when I messed up on an assignment deadline. It was all consensual, but it felt so real for a moment, he put me in timeout, told me off like a kid would get from a parent, and made me apologize properly before letting me back into his good graces. Sounded silly to write out here, but honestly it helped motivate me to keep up with my studies after that. If you ever need a quick reminder of your priorities, sometimes regression can do the trick.
