A Day Off for Special Care

Today was one of those days where being a nurse felt less like my job and more like living out an elaborate adult fantasy. After a long shift, I came home to find my partner had prepared something different, not just a 'day off' but a special role-play scenario that left me questioning whether he could read minds or if this was pure coincidence (or maybe a little of both). We've experimented with power dynamics before, but today felt... more intense. He took on a caregiving role, and as I usually do in my professional life, I found myself seeking his guidance and protection, only now it was within the framework of our private world where roles blur and realities intertwine.
