caught in the moment

i was taking care of him today and things just got really intense between us. i mean, it started out so normal - reading stories, cooking dinner together, but then his eyes locked onto mine and everything changed. we both knew what was about to happen without even saying a word. afterwards, i felt kinda weird. like this isn't something that happens in a caregiver role. is it ok for me to have these kinds of feelings? do others feel the same way sometimes? i hope im not the only one.
