Detached Duty

I'm a military spouse and in my twenties, currently playing little with my husband. He's been away on deployment for months now, but we keep up the dynamic through calls and letters. I don't pretend to be young in this context, it’s about reclaiming the feeling of being cared for unconditionally. One night, before he left, we had a session that felt more intense than usual. It was less playful and more serious. He explained his fears about leaving me behind and the stress of potentially not returning. I tried to comfort him by taking on a more submissive role, trying to alleviate some of his burdens in my own way.
