When Daddy Decided to Take Things Too Far

So I'm this software engineer with a thing for being a strict daddy in my DDLG relationship. We've been together for over six months now, and she's pretty into letting me take charge of her adult life too, like, managing her chores, her social calendar, all that good stuff. She's even gotten into wearing these cute little pigtails and frilly outfits when we're together at home. It's kinda fun to see her in a more submissive role. Anyway, this last weekend, we were just hanging out, watching some movies with pizza, classic Friday night, right? I had been thinking about something a bit different for our dynamic. You know how DDLG is all about age play and roleplay but not necessarily the literal stuff of an actual child-adult relationship? Well, it was still on my mind that maybe we could spice things up by going deeper into her pretending to be younger, like really young, twelve or so. So here's where I kinda lost myself a bit. She had gone to bed early because she wasn't feeling well, and I started thinking about how I should 'discipline' her for not doing enough chores that week (we joke about this sort of thing, but you know, sometimes the Daddy in me wants to be real strict). It's one of those things we talk about sometimes, how if a child skipped their chores, there might be consequences. So I got it into my head that maybe giving her a time-out wasn't enough and... yeah, well, I went too far with this. I know now I shouldn’t have done that, but the idea seemed so real to me at the time. The next day we had planned something fun out, roller-skating and some games. She woke up in a different mood; she seemed sad or maybe just confused about what happened. We talked it out, but there's no going back from crossing that line. She was clear that while she enjoys playing pretend at being younger sometimes for roleplay, real strict discipline isn't something she wants to experience. This kind of stuff is delicate and we need to respect each other’s limits. Looking back on it, I'm not really sure what made me do that; maybe just too much time thinking about 'what if' scenarios in my head without talking it through with her first. It taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of communication and boundaries, no matter how consensual the play is supposed to be. And yeah, I learned that sometimes DDLG can't involve crossing into the territory of real discipline for an actual child. Lesson learned.
