Small Rule Breaker

Last night, I was supposed to finish cleaning the house before we had our date night. Instead, I got lost in my thoughts and ended up just setting everything aside for later. It felt like a step back from where I usually am with myself, responsible and attentive. But sometimes, it’s okay to let things slide. I’m human, after all, even if it means admitting guilt the next day.
