Confession of My Dual Nature

Anonymous Sleepy Sprite #598 · General Confessions

I’m in my twenties and nonbinary, with a side that craves both taking on the role of a little one under care and being the caregiver myself. It’s a dynamic I’ve explored for years now, switching between these two personas as needed and depending on who I’m engaging with or playing out scenes with. There’s this undeniable thrill in surrendering control to someone else, letting them take charge, setting rules, and doling out discipline when things aren’t going well. It's not about actual powerlessness; it’s a game of roles we all agree upon ahead of time. And then there’s the flip side, where I step into the role of caregiver for another adult who wants to be cared for like they’re younger or less capable in the moment. The care aspect isn’t just physical but also emotional and mental, it's about providing comfort, enforcing boundaries, and helping them navigate their desires while ensuring everything remains safe and consensual. It sounds complex, but it’s actually incredibly fulfilling on both ends of this relationship spectrum, reminding me that growth doesn't come from always being the giver or receiver; sometimes, you need to be both to truly understand yourself.
