Just a Switched-Up Daydream

I’m nonbinary, 24, and I’ve been experimenting with DDLG dynamics as both little and caregiver. Today, while at work, I found myself daydreaming about being scolded for not wearing my hair clips to work like usual, then imagining comforting a younger me, telling them it’s okay to be forgetful sometimes. It was playful in my head but felt oddly real too. Does this happen often to others? Am I the only one who finds comfort and fun in these roleplays?
