I've been struggling with being a full-time parent lately. It's overwhelming, and sometimes I just need to be taken care of myself. One day, when my partner was home sick, we found ourselves in an unusual position: me, playing the little one, needing him to take charge. He wasn't sure at first, but as I pleaded with those big eyes... he caved. We set up a tiny bedroom for me complete with stuffed animals and baby toys... It felt good being looked after like that, but also... lonely. Deep down, I just wanted someone to understand the weight of my responsibilities and care for me back...
