new to ddlg

hey guys i just started exploring ddlg stuff with my partner and its super exciting but also kinda weird. we tried a light session yesterday where i played the little role and he was big daddy. it felt really intimate and fun but now im not sure if im doing everything right or if this is normal to feel so giddy and nervous at once. anyone got any tips on how to navigate this dynamic? am i totally off track here?
