Missed Opportunity?

Since my divorce, I've found comfort and excitement in the DDLG lifestyle. It was something that made me feel alive again, even if it was just pretend for a while. I recently met someone who seemed perfect for this kind of play, an intelligent and charming Daddy type who expressed interest right away. We started playing almost immediately, but after a few weeks, he suddenly stopped calling. He said he enjoyed our time together but wanted to take a break to focus on himself. It felt like another loss in my life. I've tried reaching out, but all I get are vague replies about needing space. Part of me wonders if it's worth pushing or if I should just let him go and find someone else who will appreciate the connection we had. Is this normal? Am I overthinking things?
