...Yesterday, I was supposed to finish that painting for the exhibition... but it felt so tedious. I kept telling myself just a little break wouldn't hurt. So I turned on my favorite show instead. And before I knew it, an hour had gone by with nothing painted. I feel terrible about breaking my self-imposed rule. What am I going to do now? The deadline is looming...
