Confessions of a Confused Switch

Anonymous Whispering Cub #650 · General Confessions

I'm in my mid-twenties, a grad student with more books than friends. I've always thought of myself as a vanilla person, but lately, I’ve found myself drawn to the idea of being both little and caregiver simultaneously. It’s bizarre, on one hand, there's this childish whimsy that makes me want to dress up in baby clothes and act like I'm five again. On the other, there's this strange satisfaction when I'm put in charge of someone else's care, especially if it involves a bit of role-played discipline. It’s confusing, honestly. Am I just seeking control? Or is this some weird form of escapism from my PhD program? I’ve kept all these thoughts to myself because, well, talking about adult age-play feels… immature. But here, among strangers, there's no judgment. So, do you think it’s normal for a serious grad student like me to have such unusual interests? Is this just another aspect of adulthood that I haven’t explored yet?
