Breaking the No-Eating Rule

Alright, so here's a confession from someone who usually keeps things together but slipped up once. I'm this big ol' bartender you'd think knows better, and I play Daddy in my DDLG dynamic with my sub. Everything runs smooth like clockwork most days, but there was this one time that really made me feel guilty. We have a little rule where I tell her to go through her snacks and stuff before she comes over, so everything is all neat when she gets here. It's kind of a test for her too, see if she remembers what's expected. Well, guess who forgot one crucial detail about the rule? Me! This happened during a stressful week at work, and by the time I got home, I was craving something sweet like it was my last meal on Earth. There was this big jar of gummy bears that had been staring me down for days in plain sight. It's not like they're forbidden or anything, but breaking the rule felt so naughty. Anyway, being Daddy doesn't mean I'm some kind of saint, you know? So yeah, without thinking twice, I reached into the jar and popped a couple gummy bears into my mouth. Right after, I immediately felt that pang in my gut, like “Oh no, this is going to be so bad when she finds out.” But you know me, once curiosity got the better of me, there was no stopping it. When she walked through the door later, with her eyes wide and innocent as ever, I could tell by the way she looked around that something wasn't right. She saw them straightaway: the crumbs on my shirt and the sticky fingerprints on the edge of the jar. And that's when the guilt hit me even harder. She asked if I had any snacks while waiting for her to come over, and it was like getting caught red-handed all over again. After a moment’s pause (you know how it feels), I admitted to having just one or two gummy bears. She laughed, we both knew she could see right through me from the start. We ended up laughing about it afterward but yeah, breaking that rule was a reminder of how easy it is for even grown-up Daddies like me to get caught up in little acts of rebellion. But hey, a Daddy's gotta have his candy too once in a while.
