A Day Off From Mommying

Today was meant to be my day off from mommy duties, but I couldn't resist. I invited my little into the playroom early morning with a bag full of toys and treats. The moment he saw me in his favorite outfit, all playful and ready, his eyes lit up like Christmas lights. We spent hours playing hide-and-seek, laughing and giggling until we both felt like naughty kids again. It was so exhilarating to see him lose himself completely, forgetting all the adult stresses of life for a bit. And when he fell asleep in my arms, snuggled up comfortably, I couldn't help but feel content, knowing I provided just what he needed today.
