I'm a software engineer in my early thirties and recently started exploring DDLG with a partner who enjoys being submissive to me. Today, I found myself in an unexpected situation at work. We had planned for her to call during lunch to check-in, but she needed discipline over the phone due to some misbehavior earlier. The interaction was brief, about ten minutes of stern guidance and consequences, ending with her apologizing and promising better behavior going forward. It felt odd conducting this via a company phone, even if I could maintain my professionalism and keep our conversation private. Am I overthinking it? Is such discipline okay in the workplace context?
