Understanding Myself Through Play
Anonymous Starry Kitten #762 · General Confessions
I’m a barista by day and I explore my kinkier sides at night. Sometimes I feel like being taken care of, feeling small and protected, it’s the little space that helps me unwind from life's pressures. Other times, I enjoy flipping roles and disciplining someone younger than me, helping them learn responsibility while wearing a caregiver hat. It’s fascinating how these dynamics offer emotional release and mental clarity. For example, last night, after a particularly stressful shift, my partner came over with toys and treats for an impromptu play session. We started gentle role-play, where I acted like a child and he was the nurturing guardian. Later on, things heated up; I switched roles and used a paddle to discipline him lightly, just enough to make it real but not hurtful. It’s the mix of control and surrender that gets me going. Today, as I’m preparing coffee for people rushing to work, I can’t help but feel grateful for those late-night escapades that remind me there's more to life than a caffeine fix.
