Caring for Him Beyond the Ordinary

As a nurse in my 30s, I never thought I'd find myself in this unique dynamic with one of my patients. He's forty and has always been very independent. But after a rough patch, he found comfort in my care, not just as his nurse but as someone who takes responsibility for every aspect of his well-being. It’s like being his personal guardian, overseeing everything from his health to the finer points of daily living. I'm proud of how our arrangement has grown and how it's brought out a side of him that he never knew existed. This is just something I needed to get off my chest.
