Forgot My Chores, Oops!

I was supposed to clean the kitchen after dinner tonight, but I got sidetracked watching an episode of my favorite show. Daddy reminded me a couple times, but I just kept telling myself I'd get to it soon. Before I knew it, he walked into the living room and asked how everything was coming along. Oops! Of course, he sent me right back to finish up after a little reminder about following through with what I say I'm going to do. It's not that I mind doing chores, I mean, they need doing. But sometimes, it’s hard to resist the allure of just one more episode or snack before tackling them. Guess I'll have to work on my follow-through skills! Don't worry, though, once I got started, it didn’t take long at all.
