A Recent Discovery About Myself
Anonymous Sparkly Marshmallow #749 · General Confessions
Lately, I've been finding myself strangely drawn to the idea of caring for someone in a more overtly nurturing way. Not just as a teacher who naturally guides and supports their students, but in a role where there's an explicit agreement on taking care of another adult... perhaps even discipline when needed. This is new to me. It's not that I'm uncomfortable with it per se, but rather puzzled by this sudden interest. When it crosses my mind during the day or at night, I wonder if others experience something similar, or if there's something uniquely peculiar about finding oneself in such a situation as an adult. Does anyone have insight into why someone might suddenly feel this way? Is this normal?
