A Little Rule-Breaker

Today I made a small but significant mistake in my role as Mommy. I had promised myself to keep the house tidy and organized throughout the day, setting up chores for both of us, just like a responsible Mommy should. But then, the temptation was too strong, I skipped my afternoon cleaning session because I wanted to read an extra chapter from my book instead. As much as it pains me to admit, I couldn't resist giving in to that childish desire. It's rare for me to slip up like this, so admitting it feels a bit... naughty.
