The Weight of Care

Anonymous Sparkly Fawn #861 · General Confessions

I'm a trans man in my twenties and recently took on a Daddy role with someone who needed guidance. It wasn't easy, adjusting to the dynamic. I had to set aside my own issues and focus on being there for them, like a father would be for their child. Every time I disciplined or nurtured them, it felt like a heavy responsibility resting on my shoulders. They called me Dad, and with that came an overwhelming sense of duty and love. Sometimes it was tough, dealing with their tantrums, setting boundaries that made both of us cry. But when they'd look up at me with those vulnerable eyes, all I could do was hold them close and whisper promises of protection. It's not always sunshine and rainbows, but every moment feels earned and deeply personal.
