i did something i wasn't supposed to

ok so like yesterday after work me and jason went to this diner that's open late. we had a bit too much red bull at the bar tonight which means i was kinda hyped up but also a bit off balance. jason told me to be home by midnight because he wanted us to set some rules about being out so late, you know? and like yeah, i did promise him that i would come straight back. but then...i saw this cool little comics shop nearby, one of those retro ones with the old toys and collectibles too. i've been wanting to check it out for ages and the place closes at midnight too. so there's me, walking home thinking how maybe just peeking in wouldn't hurt right? it's not like i went drinking or anything, but still...i knew better. jason gives such clear instructions because he wants to help keep us both safe and responsible. it wasn't even a big deal really except for breaking his trust like that. so i didn't buy anything at all just looked around real quick then rushed back home, hoping no one had seen me outside of hours. but still...it was wrong and now i'm wondering if this will mean we can't go out anymore as late or something worse.
