Caring for My Little
Anonymous Starry Bean #638 · General Confessions
I'm a first-year law student who's always been protective over those close to me. Recently, without calling myself a Mommy or anything like that, I’ve found joy in being the caregiver in my relationship, making sure he’s okay when he needs someone to look out for him. Last weekend, after a particularly rough day at work, seeing him so vulnerable made it clear to me how much we both need this kind of support system. It feels good to know that whatever happens, there's this safe space where I can take care of the person who means everything to me. Does anyone else experience something like this or find value in being a consistent source of strength and guidance for their partner?
