Caregiving and Control

I've been taking care of my partner for about three years now, but it's not your typical caregiving role. We agreed to a dynamic where I'm in charge of her daily routine, from the clothes she wears to the food she eats. She respects my boundaries, follows the rules strictly, and never questions them. It's... satisfying. Today, we had an interesting exchange over breakfast. She wanted pancakes, but I decided on oatmeal instead because it was healthier. When she complained, I reminded her that decisions like these are mine to make, not hers. She pouted a bit but eventually ate the oatmeal without fuss. Afterwards, we moved on with our day as planned. It felt odd typing this out - not sure why it's so important to confess something like this.
