Small Misstep

I had a bad day today and just wanted to comfort myself with some sweets from the stash I wasn't supposed to have. My partner, who's been incredibly patient while we figure out this DDLG dynamic, laid down strict rules about what treats are okay and when, but I broke them without even thinking twice. The guilt is overwhelming, knowing how much effort they put into setting these guidelines for our space and I just ruined it with my momentary weakness. It's such a small thing compared to others, but the disappointment in myself eats at me deeply.
