Exploring New Territory

I recently ended a long-term relationship and have been exploring different aspects of my sexuality that I haven't delved into before. A few weeks ago, I met someone online who introduced me to the concept of Daddy/kitten play. It felt incredibly freeing to step out of my comfort zone and embrace this new dynamic with him. We've had a couple of sessions where he took on the role of my protective, caring father figure while I slipped into the playful, submissive role of his kitten. It's fascinating how much I've enjoyed these moments, but I'm still trying to understand why it resonates so deeply with me. Is it just the novelty? Or is there something more significant about this kind of relationship dynamic that speaks to my subconscious desires?
