Admissions of Discipline Play

Anonymous Giggly Pixie #834 · General Confessions

I've always considered myself someone who's very clear-headed and level-headed. My professional life as a high school teacher has taught me the importance of boundaries, both in my personal and professional lives. Yet recently, I found something within myself that surprised even me, a fascination with the concept of discipline play. The idea of consenting to some form of control or guidance, which is quite contrary to my usual independence, intrigues me more than I thought it would. This isn't about power exchange in a traditional sense, it's more abstract, more cerebral for now. But considering how strict and controlling the world seems to be today, exploring this as a kink has been oddly comforting. It allows me to explore my psyche in ways that resonate with certain philosophical notions of discipline and freedom. What do you think? Is it common to discover such deep-seated interests later in life?
