Caregiving My Way Through Law School
Anonymous Velvet Star #322 · General Confessions
I'm a first-year law student and recently took on a caregiving role with someone I care about deeply. We never use labels like 'Daddy' or 'Mommy', but the dynamic is clear, they need me, and I am there for them unconditionally. It's been tough balancing the emotional demands of this relationship alongside my studies, but it also feels incredibly rewarding to provide support in such an intimate way. There are times when I feel overwhelmed, questioning if I can handle both roles adequately, but then seeing their smile or knowing how much they rely on me brings a sense of purpose that nothing else can match.
