New to DDLG and So Excited!

I'm a military spouse, 27 years old. My husband has been into some pretty intense roleplay for as long as I've known him, but we recently stumbled upon something that took our relationship to another level: Daddy Dom and Little Girl play. It's still very new to me, but oh wow, it's exhilarating! We started talking about this dynamic a few weeks ago when he mentioned wanting to explore more mature forms of play. At first, I was hesitant and thought maybe it wasn't for me, but we talked through my reservations, and now here we are! Last night, we officially gave it a try. It felt so natural once we got into the mindset. He dressed up as this incredibly handsome older man in tailored suits with suspenders, every detail was perfect down to his crisp white shirt and leather belt. I wore one of those cute little dresses with a frilly collar that made me feel like... well, not exactly my age. More like someone who needed guidance and care. We started out slow, just talking about how this dynamic makes us both feel safe and loved in different ways. Then the real stuff began: little punishments for not picking up after myself (which is never easy to admit), but they were all playful and constructive. He’d say things like “Now, what are we going to do with these toys scattered around?” It felt so freeing to let go of my adult worries and just be taken care of. We ended the night with a special treat he planned, a sweet bedtime story and cuddles under his armchair’s throw blanket. I’ll admit it was weird at first, but now it feels like home in a way nothing else has before. We’re both committed to learning more about this together as adults who just want to have fun and grow closer. I’m still figuring out how to communicate our boundaries better and what works for us, but I can already see the immense potential here. It's not easy balancing it all with being a military spouse and the uncertainties that come with it, but in this moment, we're both just adults enjoying each other’s company and care. I wanted to share my journey so far because maybe someone else is out there at the start of their own adventure too.
